Q: What is embroidery?
A: Embroidery is the use of stitching to create a design on fabrics. It has been used as an embellishment on garments for centuries. At one time embroidery was done exclusively by hand, but has now become an automated process. With the advent of computers and graphic design programs, embroidery is now an easy way to create individualized, memorable garments and accessories.

Q: What items can be embroidered?
A: Nearly any fabric can be embroidered. Some common choices include shirts, hats, and jackets. With today's machines, the possibilities are nearly endless. Embroidery can be placed on leather goods such as dog leashes and collars; gym or duffle bags; garment bags; baby blankets, clothing, and bibs; linens such as table clothes, napkins, and towels.
Q: What type of designs cam be embroidered?
A: Nearly any design can be embroidered. There are a few exceptions. Designs that have very fine lines may need slight adjustments in color or line width in order to appear visible on the fabric. Designs that have an abundance of colors may need to be simplified in order to fit in the allowed space (especially true on hats and left chest logos or in order to present a clear appearance on the finished product. Most importantly copyrighted material--such as company logos, professional sports team logos, and cartoon characters--cannot be reproduced without permission from the owner of the copyright.
Q: What is the process for ordering customized embroidery?
A: The process is simple. If you have a design or logo that you are happy with, we can start with that. We can also help with the design for a small fee. After the design is complete, if you haven't already done so, you will need to choose a product on which to put your design. Many times this decision is already made. We then order the product you have chosen. While we wait for the product to be delivered, we will produce a sample of your design on a piece of fabric. We will then e-mail a high resolution photo for you to examine. We will make any adjustments prior to beginning actual production.  When you have approved your design and we have received your product we will produce your design on the product and ship it to you.

This process is greatly simplified for items requiring simple text or a stock design.
